Throughout its long and rich history, Arab civilization has contributed to the scientific movement and to enriching human civilization with major and unique additions in the field of contemporary sciences and scientific discoveries. Indeed, it was a principal source for many of the scientific and technological developments that our present age has reached in all fields and specializations. While the West focused on delving into the exploration of the world's scientific heritage, including the Arab and Islamic scientific heritage, whether in theories, literature and scientific products such as books and works, or in the authors of those theories and scientific products, we find that in the Arab world we do not give our scientific heritage its due in further exploring its hidden part and linking the impact of the product of our scientific heritage of theories and works developed by Arab scholars in the era of the Arab renaissance to the development and techniques of contemporary sciences in medicine, engineering, agriculture, astronomy, chemistry, physics and other sciences, and how that scientific output was the foundation of what we have reached today. Many Arab researchers are unaware that there are many scientific theories used in today's technology that were developed by the ancestors among Arab scholars, and which can also be built upon and developed for ever greater service to humanity.
Not only that, but Arab youth interested in science are also unaware of this fact, and their knowledge of the Arab scientific heritage is limited to knowing a small number of names of Arab scholars, without knowing the efforts they made in the service of science, as well as their ignorance of a large number of other scholars and their scientific output that once contributed to changing the course of the world.
Since interest in the Arab scientific heritage of theories and scientific products is considered a driver and an incentive to build upon it in developing and updating those theories and that output by Arab scholars and researchers in our contemporary era, and a driver and an incentive for Arab youth and instilling a positive spirit in you, this project comes in harmony with the Arab strategy and achieves the mechanisms of interest in disseminating scientific culture in society and the culture of appreciating and celebrating scientific output.
