His Excellency Professor Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), today, Wednesday 22 April 2026, paid a visit to the headquarters of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Tunisia, where he met His Excellency the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Tunisia, Dr Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr, on the occasion of the end of his mission.

This meeting was an opportunity to praise the strength of the cooperation relations between ALECSO and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to commend the prominent role played by His Excellency the Ambassador in supporting and strengthening these relations during his term of office.

On this occasion, His Excellency the Director-General presented the ALECSO shield to His Excellency the Ambassador, in appreciation of the notable efforts he has made in consolidating the ties of continuous cooperation to support the Organization's programmes and activities, reflecting a sincere commitment to serving joint Arab action.

His Excellency also expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Ambassador for the constructive cooperation and fruitful coordination that characterized his relationship with ALECSO, noting the professional competence and positive spirit he displayed, which contributed to consolidating a close and distinguished partnership.

For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his pride in his term of office in Tunisia, appreciating the level of cooperation with ALECSO, and praising the role played by the Organization in serving the fields of education, culture and science in the Arab world, wishing it further success and accomplishment in its mission to achieve its lofty message.
