Activity Concept

Today we live in a world marked by the rapid and continuous development of technology and digital transformation, where technology has become an integral part of our daily lives. Children today live in an environment that relies heavily on smart devices and digital media, and these uses of modern technology are a tool with both advantages and risks. Therefore, through this project, ALECSO seeks to have children in the Arab world benefit from the positive aspects of this field, which requires a deep understanding of technology and digital skills. Accordingly, it has become essential to support our rising generations in developing these skills and making optimal use of technology.

The project "Foreseeing Emerging Technologies and Enhancing Children's Digital Skills in the Arab World" is an important project that aims to enable children to gain a deep understanding of technology and to participate effectively in an advanced digital world, and to enable them to explore several fields such as programming, game design, data analysis, creative thinking, and foreseeing emerging technologies, which gives them the ability to build a bright future in this digital world. Moreover, the project relies on an interactive and enjoyable learning approach, offering children the opportunity to discover and experience technology in a practical way through educational lessons, workshops and educational games. In respect of children's safety in this digital world, they will also be guided on how to use the internet safely and protect their personal information through a guidance manual on cybersecurity.

Through this project, we expect children in the Arab world to have technological skills that enable them to excel in a society that increasingly relies on technology, by building their capacities and confidence in dealing with this advanced world and establishing these skills in childhood, which contributes to shaping the leaders and innovators of the future.
