On Friday, 24 April 2026, at the headquarters of the Arab Organization for Communication and Information Technologies, the dialogue "Awail – AWAIL: Towards Intergenerational Leadership in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity" was held, organized in partnership with Global Training and Consulting Services (GTC), within the framework of celebrating the International Girls in ICT Day.

The Organization was represented at this dialogue by Ms Nesrine Ghanem, External Relations Officer. The event witnessed distinguished attendance by a select group of women leaders, decision-makers and experts in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, alongside representatives and experts from the League of Arab States, the International Telecommunication Union, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), and the GSMA, the global association of mobile telecommunications operators. The event also witnessed active participation by female students and young women interested in the fields of technology, in a practical embodiment of the concept of intergenerational dialogue.

The event also included a session dedicated to exploring ways to enhance cooperation between regional and international organizations in order to build a supportive system for empowering women in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, in a way that contributes to developing more integrated policies and programmes at the Arab and African levels.
