ALECSO Director-General receives Secretary-General of the Arab Maghreb Union

 

The Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, received, on February 25, 2025 at ALECSO headquarters, the Secretary-General of the Arab Maghreb Union, Mr. Tarek Ben Salem, who was paying an official visit aimed at further strengthening cooperation between ALECSO and the Union.

Both sides explored ways of enhancing partnership in the fields of education, culture, and technology, with a focus on joint projects designed to serve sustainable development in the Maghreb countries. They also reviewed efforts to promote innovation and strengthen joint Arab action.

The Director-General briefed the Secretary-General of the Arab Maghreb Union on ALECSO’s  programs and projects for the coming period.
