A delegation from ALECSO paid an official visit, on 25 November 2025, to H.E. Dr. Tariq Salem Saleh Al-Akbari, Minister of Education of the Republic of Yemen. The meeting, held at the Ministry’s headquarters, was attended by H.E. Dr. Hafiza Al-Sheikh, Secretary-General of the Yemeni National Commission for Education, Science, and Culture.

During the meeting, Dr. Rami Iskander, Director of Education and head of the delegation, conveyed the greetings of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO. He reaffirmed the Organization’s commitment to supporting Yemen’s efforts to develop its educational system, particularly in terms of teacher upgrading and the implementation of educational programs aligned with national priorities.

For his part, the Minister expressed his sincere appreciation to ALECSO, represented by its Director-General, for its significant role in supporting Yemen through the implementation of a range of activities in the educational, cultural, and scientific fields. He called for further strengthening cooperation by expanding training programs in the coming period.
