The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ICT Department), organized, on October 28-30, 2025, in collaboration with the Chinese company DFRobot, a robotics and open-source hardware provider, a “Teacher Training workshop in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence”.

The workshop opened with remarks by Eng. Ziad Maazaoui, Project Coordinator and Expert at the ICT Department, delivered on behalf of Dr. Mohamed Jemni, Director of ICT at ALECSO. 

Eng. Maazaoui emphasized ALECSO’s commitment to supporting innovation and entrepreneurial projects in Arab countries, and building Arab capacities in technology and digital transformation. He also highlighted ALECSO’s focus on conducting training courses in several Arab countries, led by specialized experts, with the aim of equipping teachers with the skills needed to teach advanced technologies to students at early education levels.

For her part, Ms. Qian Zhang, Marketing Executive at DFRobot, commended ALECSO’s efforts in strengthening cooperation and knowledge exchange. She highlighted her company’s contributions to digital education and innovation in over 200 countries worldwide.

The training workshop brought together 34 teachers and educational experts, and was facilitated by specialists from China and Tunisia.
