The Secretary-General of the Arab Maghreb Union, H.E. Mr. Tarek Ben Salem, received, on January 16, 2025 at the Union headquarters, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and his accompanying delegation, during an official visit aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Organization and the Union.

Both sides discussed ways of enhancing partnership between ALECSO and the Arab Maghreb Union in the fields of education, culture, and ICT, with a focus on joint projects that serve sustainable development in the countries of the Arab Maghreb. The meeting also reviewed both parties’ efforts to enhance joint Arab action. 

At the end of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed, reflecting the commitment of both sides to strengthen relations and work together in pursuit of shared goals.
