On the sidelines of the 24th  session of the Conference of Arab Culture Ministers, held in Rabat, Morocco, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, met, on January 15, 2025, with H.E. Mr. Muammar  Al-Eryani, Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Yemen, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting addressed the significant role of ALECSO in reviving and preserving tangible and intangible cultural heritage in Arab countries. It also discussed efforts toward cultural and intellectual unity in the Arab World, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between ALECSO and the Republic of Yemen in the fields of education, culture, and science.
