H.E. Mr. Joseph Aoun, President of the Lebanese Republic, received H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, along with his accompanying delegation, at the Baabda Palace in Beirut.

The meeting addressed the excellent relations between Lebanon and ALECSO, and explored ways of further strengthening them to serve educational, cultural, and scientific goals in the Arab world.

The meeting also touched on the main activities that ALECSO has implemented, and those it plans to implement, in Lebanon.

The Lebanese President commended the role played by ALECSO in its areas of action and the efforts it is investing to promote joint Arab action in the educational, cultural, and scientific fields.
