H.E.  Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, received, on July 13, 2025 at the headquarters of the General Secretariat, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO.

The meeting reviewed the main activities and projects ALECSO is currently implementing in Member States, alongside the qualitative initiatives launched by the Organization in its fields of action, and its efforts to enhance cooperation with strategic partners.

The Secretary-General commended the significant work performed by ALECSO and the valuable achievements realized in the areas of education, science and culture. He expressed his full support for ALECSO as a hub of expertise that contributes to promoting joint Arab action.

For his part, the Director-General expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Secretary-General for his continuous support to the Organization's efforts, affirming ALECSO’s commitment to pursuing constructive work to serve development issues in the Arab world.
