The Arabization Coordination Bureau, a subsidiary institution of ALECSO, took part in the International Symposium on “Translation and Security : The Role of Translation in Enhancing National and International Security”, held on July 2–3, 2025, at ICESCO headquarters in Rabat, Morocco. The event was organized by ICESCO in collaboration with Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS).

The Symposium brought together prominent experts in translation and security, who delivered papers addressing emerging issues related to translation and its role in promoting security in its procedural and judicial dimensions.

The two-day symposium featured five thematic sessions. Dr. Mourad Rifi, Director of the Arabization Coordination Bureau, chaired the fourth session entitled : “Security-related Translation and the Challenges of Digital Development.”
