H.E. Ms. Lolwah Al Khater, Minister of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar, received, on April 27, 2025, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, on the sidelines of the International Conference on Orientalism, held on April 26-27, 2025 in Doha, Qatar.

The meeting focused on ways to strengthen cooperation between ALECSO and the State of Qatar in the educational, cultural, and scientific fields. Both parties reaffirmed their willingness to scale up cooperation in pursuit of shared goals.

The Minister thanked the Director-General for his participation at the International Conference on Orientalism, held in Qatar. She also commended ALECSO’s impactful initiatives, programs and activities in the Arab world, implemented in cooperation with Arab countries.

For his part, the Director-General thanked the Minister for the invitation extended to him to take part in this important conference.
