H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, paid a working visit to the headquarters of the Union for the Mediterranean in Barcelona, Spain. He was received by H.E. Ms. Dhouha Najjar, Director-General for Culture, Transport, and Urban Development.
The meeting discussed joint cooperation projects between ALECSO, the Union for the Mediterranean, and UNESCO, with a focus on preparations for the upcoming Forum on Archaeological Discoveries: Protecting Oases”, which will be held at ALECSO headquarters on May 7 - 9, 2025.
The Union for the Mediterranean is an intergovernmental organization composed of 28 EU Member States and 15 countries from the southern and eastern shores of the Mediterranean. It aims to promote dialogue and cooperation across the region.
