Providing literacy programmes targeting women in rural areas using modern communication tools to increase demand for education and enable rural women to complete their education.

  • Training those responsible for adult education in the Arab states.

  • A guide for preparing literacy programmes and curricula using modern communication tools.
  • A training programme for those responsible for women's literacy programmes.
Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation

The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) is the mother of specialized Arab organizations and the oldest. It was established on July 25, 1970, following the approval of the Arab Cultural Unity Charter in Baghdad in April 1964.
