Vision

To build an integrated network that works to improve the quality of early childhood education in the Arab world.

Mission

To develop the early childhood sector in the Arab States through effective coordination among the relevant institutions and the exchange of expertise.

Objectives

  • Networking governmental and non-governmental institutions concerned with early childhood.
  • Discussing early childhood issues and formulating concepts for their implementation.
  • Conducting studies related to early childhood conditions in the Arab States.
  • Exchanging expertise and experiences in this field.

Expected outputs

  • Networking among the institutions concerned with early childhood.
  • Documenting experiences and publishing the results of studies and research.
  • Organising specialised workshops for those concerned with early childhood.
Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation

The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) is the mother of specialized Arab organizations and the oldest. It was established on July 25, 1970, following the approval of the Arab Cultural Unity Charter in Baghdad in April 1964.
