Vision

Enabling educators and teachers in the Arab states to provide an inclusive and comprehensive environment for children with special needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder.

Mission

Strengthening the capacities of educators in kindergartens and inclusive schools to ensure equal opportunities for all children, including children with special needs.

Objectives

  • Strengthening the capacities of educators and teachers in the field of school inclusion.
  • Accepting the child's disability and providing active pedagogical methods.
  • Preparing children with disabilities and disorders for school integration.
  • Supporting integrated care for children with special needs.

Expected outputs

  • Organizing training courses to empower kindergarten educators and teachers.
  • A specialized training program in school inclusion.
  • Developing diagnostic skills and building appropriate educational activities.
Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation

The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) is the mother of specialized Arab organizations and the oldest. It was established on July 25, 1970, following the approval of the Arab Cultural Unity Charter in Baghdad in April 1964.
