Achieving comprehensive guidance for instructional design and the integration of technologies in Arab education to enhance quality in inclusive and integrated education.

Mission

Establishing an Arab reference that contributes to developing instructional design and the integration of technologies, with a focus on educating people with special needs, thereby contributing to improving the quality of education in the Arab states.

Objectives

  • Affirming the role of ALECSO as a reference in the educational field.
  • Building the capacities of the Arab states in instructional design and the integration of technologies.
  • Developing a community of practice that promotes sustainability.
  • Supporting education for people with disabilities through the design of integrated educational programmes.

Expected outputs

  • Developing instructional design and the integration of technologies.
  • Raising awareness in the Arab states about this field.
  • Building specialized capacities in the field.
  • A shift in specialists' attitudes toward using new educational technologies based on scientific foundations.
Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation

The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) is the mother of specialized Arab organizations and the oldest. It was established on July 25, 1970, following the approval of the Arab Cultural Unity Charter in Baghdad in April 1964.
