His Excellency the Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), Professor Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, today, Monday 13 July 2026, offered his condolences at the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Tunisian Republic, where he wrote a word in the book of condolences, expressing his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and to the ruling family and the brotherly Qatari people, on the passing of His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, may God have mercy on him.

On this painful occasion, His Excellency affirmed ALECSO's solidarity with the sister State of Qatar following this grave calamity, praying to the Lord Almighty to envelop the deceased in His vast mercy, to admit him into His spacious gardens, and to inspire his noble family and the Qatari people with beautiful patience and solace.
