His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Organization's staff, extends his warmest condolences and most sincere expressions of sympathy to the leadership, government, and people of Qatar following the passing of the late, by the will of God Almighty, the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, may God have mercy on him, today, Sunday, 12 July 2026; the leader of Qatar's renaissance, praying to God Almighty to envelop him in His vast mercy and to admit him into His spacious gardens in the company of the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and what excellent companions they are.
