The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) took part in the 58th  regular session of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action, kindly hosted by the Association of Arab Universities in Amman, Jordan. 

The meeting was opened by H.E. Minister Plenipotentiary Dr. Raed Al-Jubouri, Director of the Department of Arab Organizations and Federations at the League of Arab States.

The first session, at expert level, addressed the following :

• The agenda items of the meeting
• A follow-up report on the implementation of the resolutions adopted by the 57th session of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action 
• The outcomes of the First Arab Artificial Intelligence Forum
• The establishment of an Arab economic monitoring mechanism based on big data and artificial intelligence

ALECSO was represented by : 

• Mr. Abdelhak Haif, Head of Office of the Director-General
• Dr. Ahmed Al-Jalal, Director of Administrative Affairs
• Mr. Yahya Mansar, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts
• Dr. Hanan Boussi, Coordinator of the Scientific Committee that prepared the major pillars of the Organization’s strategic vision beyond 2028.”.
