The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), in partnership with the UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education (RCQE), is organizing on 08 and 09 June 2026, at its headquarters in the Republic of Tunisia, the Arab Forum on the Quality and Excellence of Early Childhood Institutions in the Arab States, under the slogan "Quality of Childhood... Sustainability of the Future", with the participation of experts and representatives of ministries of education and institutions concerned with early childhood in the Arab States, both in person and remotely.

The organization of this forum comes within the framework of Arab efforts aimed at raising the quality of early childhood services and strengthening institutional evaluation and accreditation systems, through presenting the Arab Standard Framework for Evaluating the Quality of Early Childhood Institutions, which was developed within the joint regional project between ALECSO and the UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education.

The forum will address the philosophy of this standard framework, its dimensions and its various domains, in addition to discussing the mechanisms for employing it in the processes of evaluation, accreditation and continuous improvement of early childhood institutions, as well as reviewing the most prominent successful Arab and international practices in the field of applying quality standards at this vital educational stage.

This forum affirms the commitment of ALECSO and its partners to supporting joint Arab efforts aimed at investing in early childhood as a fundamental pillar for building the human being and achieving sustainable development in Arab societies.
