Director General On the sidelines of the Arab Forum on Cultural and Creative Industries, held in Rabat, Morocco, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, met, on May 18, 2026, with H.E. Mr. Albara Al-Auhali, Deputy Minister for Strategies and Policies at the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting explored ways to strengthen Arab cultural cooperation and support cultural and creative industries in light of the ongoing transformations shaping the cultural sector across the Arab world. Discussions also focused on enhancing opportunities for partnership and integration among Arab cultural institutions.
Both sides underscored the importance of sustained coordination and intensified cooperation among Arab cultural institutions to advance joint Arab cultural action and respond effectively to the rapid developments in the cultural and creative sectors.
