On the sidelines of the State of Kuwait's hosting of the closing activities of "Kuwait Capital of Arab Culture," His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), received His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mr. Salah Eddine Abkari, in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the State of Kuwait, Mr. Ali Ben Aissa, Professor Dr. Hamid Bin Saif Al-Noufali, Director of the Culture Department at the Organization, and Mr. Abdelhadi Al-Ghammari, projects coordinator at the Culture Department.
The meeting addressed ways to enhance joint Arab cultural cooperation in light of the Kingdom of Morocco's current chairmanship of the Conference of Arab Ministers of Culture. Discussions were also held regarding the follow-up on the implementation of the recommendations of the previous session of the conference, and working to activate its outputs in a manner that enhances the paths of Arab cultural action.
The meeting also addressed the preparations related to the Kingdom of Morocco's hosting of the World Forum for the Cultural and Digital Economy, expected to be held next May, as an important station for supporting cultural and creative industries, and enhancing digital transformation in the cultural sector at the Arab and international levels.
