The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) participated in the activities of the sixteenth Middle East International Invention Fair, organized by the Kuwait Science Club in the State of Kuwait under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, during the period from 8 to 11 February 2026.

The opening of the fair was inaugurated by the representative of His Highness the Crown Prince, the Kuwaiti Minister of Education, His Excellency Engineer Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei.

ALECSO was represented at this fair by Professor Dr. Mohamed Sanad Abu Darwish, Director of the Science and Scientific Research Department at the Organization.

ALECSO's presence and participation in this fair falls within the framework of embodying its role in stimulating scientific research and innovation in the Arab countries, particularly among the young categories, and creating the various opportunities that encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, transforming pioneering and innovative ideas into entrepreneurial projects, and linking them with innovation incubators and business accelerators.

It is worth noting that the International Invention Fair, held in the State of Kuwait, is considered one of the most prominent innovation events in the region, as more than 213 inventors from various parts of the world and in multiple scientific sectors participate in it. The fair aims to enhance the culture of innovation, support inventors at the Arab and global levels, create a scientific and investment environment for displaying and marketing their inventions, and motivate them through the provision of a number of encouragement prizes.
