The Arab League Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, in cooperation with the Lebanese National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, is implementing a training program during the period between November 10-13, 2025, in the capital, Beirut, in the fields of planning, educational forecasting, and educational evaluation and measurement, adopting a participatory approach based on interaction between supervisors and trainees. The first was allocated to “developing and improving education in the Arab world” within the framework of following up on the implementation of the decision of the Fourteenth Conference of Ministers. Arab Education, related to “Adopting the Forward-looking Plan for Education in the Arab World” prepared by ALECSO at the request of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, and the second was allocated to “the quality and reliability of electronic evaluation of academic programs,” with the aim of enhancing capabilities in designing electronic evaluation, analyzing data, ensuring the reliability of electronic evaluation and achieving academic goals. The implementation of the training program was supervised by Professor Dr. Rami Iskandar, Director of the Education Department at ALECSO, and Professor Riad Baydoun, member of the Executive Office of the Lebanese National Committee. of UNESCO, and Professor Ramza Jaber, Assistant Secretary-General of the Lebanese National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, and supervised by a team of specialized experts in the field, with whom ALECSO cooperated in preparing and framing the training program. 70 participants from leaders and educational frameworks in public and higher education and from research institutions in the Lebanese Republic and an elite group of experts, researchers and academics participated in the training program. The implementation of these training workshops falls within the framework of an integrated program implemented by ALECSO in cooperation. With the ministries of education and higher education in the Arab countries, in implementation of the recommendations of the specialized ministerial conferences of ALECSO to support national efforts in member states and accompany them in a way that can enhance the components of the quality and sustainability of educational systems and enhance their digital transformation, and within the framework of supporting Lebanese national efforts in the field of special education, Professor Dr. Rami Iskandar, Director of the Education Department of ALECSO, held a number of meetings on the sidelines of his supervision of the implementation of the training program in the field of improving the quality of education in the Lebanese Republic. Visits to educational institutions, the most important of which is the Al-Hadi Foundation, where he appreciated the efforts made by the institution, especially the quality services and humanitarian efforts to raise awareness.
