The Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) participated in the third session of the Djibouti International Book Fair, from April 21-25, 2025. During this session, the organization was an active partner of the Ministry of Youth and Culture in the Republic of Djibouti, and the exhibition management allocated a pavilion for ALECSO, in which its latest educational, cultural and scientific publications were displayed. During the days of the exhibition, a number of school students visited the organization’s pavilion to learn about the organization’s intellectual, educational and scientific product, and on this occasion they were presented with gifts. ALECSO's participation in the exhibition comes within the framework of introducing the works it presents in the field of its specialization. Both Dr. Ahmadou Habibi and Mr. Osama Al-Habash participated in the accompanying intellectual seminars that discussed issues of cultural development, Arab theater in Djibouti, and local cultural fields. During her speech at the opening of the exhibition, Professor Hebou Moumen Asawi, Minister of Youth and Culture of Djibouti, extended her greetings and appreciation to His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Ould. Omar, Director General of the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization, expressed her appreciation for the interest that His Excellency attaches to the Republic of Djibouti and for all the support that ALECSO provides in the service of Arab culture in this member country of the organization.
