The City of Culture hosted, on 20 and 21 May 2026, the conference “Towards a Fair, Sustainable and Renewable Energy Transition”, organised by the Tunisian National Agency for Energy Management, with the participation of experts and national and international institutions to explore ways to enhance the energy transition in Tunisia. The Organization was represented at this conference by Ms Nesrine Ghanim, Head of External Relations, and Dr Manar Amer, an expert at the Science and Scientific Research Department.

The conference discussed a number of pivotal issues, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, innovation and financing mechanisms.
