The conference's recommendations focused on topics related to identifying applied scientific research of shared priority among the Arab states, calling for an increase in the funding allocated to scientific research, as well as setting precise controls and standards for licensing private higher education institutions in a way that ensures quality assurance, and calling for the adoption of the concept of the productive university.
