
Professor Dr. Mohamed Mostafa Kamal is a professor of political science and international relations, and since January 2020 has held the position of Director of the Institute of Arab Research and Studies. He has a distinguished academic and professional career: he obtained a PhD in International Relations and Political Science from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, in the United States of America, and a Master's degree in International Relations from the School of International Affairs at Carleton University in Canada; he also obtained a diploma in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University branch in the city of Bologna, Italy. He had earlier earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University with distinction and honors.
