The eleventh (11) conference of Ministers of Education in the Arab World, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in November 2019 in celebration of the centenary of formal education in the Kingdom, discussed the topic of “Educational policies and their role in achieving the fourth goal of the sustainable development goals, Education 2030,” based on the main document entitled the conference topic. It addressed the topic of achieving the fourth goal of ensuring quality, equitable and comprehensive education for all, enhancing lifelong education opportunities for all, and addressing educational policy issues and ways to improve them. They are two complementary matters. The first is a national, regional and international requirement linked to the development of education and has international indicators and reports that monitor it within the Education 2030 framework. The second requires the necessity of reconsidering the evaluation of educational policies in the direction of adapting them in a way that helps achieve the aforementioned goal. The document consists of two parts. The first serves as the philosophical foundation for building and developing educational policies in the Arab world, and envisions the mechanisms for that, according to established scientific foundations. The second section is an attempt to present the appropriate policies to achieve the fourth goal by addressing each goal. From its objectives, understanding them, interpreting them, and linking them to the educational policy appropriate to them and related to them.
