ALECSO

Bahrain is located in the southwest of the continent of Asia and is the smallest country in the Middle East, with an area of 786.8 square kilometers. Bahrain is surrounded by the waters of the Arabian Gulf on all sides, including the country's maritime borders with Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iran, though it has an artificial causeway in its western part linking it to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It joined ALECSO in 1971.
